This 2 bedroom apartment is located in a quiet corner of the lively 12th arrondissement just a few minutes from the Place de La Bastille. Well known for its authenticity, untouched by the tourist route and boasting one of the best markets in Paris, the Marché Aligre. Indeed the area buzzes with a sense of Paris as it once was, where locals fill the nearby wine bars and discuss worldly issues. The nearest métro is a 4 minute walk away at Ledru Rollin.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor (no lift) and sleeps 4 people in two double bedroom, there's one bathroom. It has been decorated to a high standard with a contemporary design created to give a bright airy feel with minimum fuss. Considerable care has been taken in the choice of furniture and there are painted white floorboards throughout.

One enters the apartment into a small hallway which leads directly into the living/dining/ kitchen area. This space has been designed to create a communal area, great for socialising. Here you will find a wooden dining table that comfortably seats 6 people. The living area has three designer armchairs, a bean bag, a coffee table a working wood fireplace and a Tomado bookshelf.

The kitchen offers all the expected appliances including gas hobs, oven, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine.

The main bedroom has a double bed (5ft3, 160cm wide) a large designer armchair, a desk with broadband internet access, a working wood fire and a small TV.

The second bedroom has a double bed (4ft7, 140cm wide) a small sofa and plenty of storage space, and the possibility of a baby cot.

The bathroom has a bathtub with an overhead shower and a wash basin. There is also a utility room with a washing machine. A separate loo can be found in the entrance hall.

The area is packed with lively restaurants cafés and wine bars. Try the Baron Rouge for a convivial atmosphere and conversation. For a bite to eat try Le Square Trousseau on the corner of Rue Théophile Roussel and Rue Antoine Vollon - there is a wonderful terrace for when the sun is shining!
